I never noticed before that in #Jira, the comment sort order is a site-wide setting, not per-user. That's a #BadUXDesign decision that didn't matter until a couple of days ago, when my site's admin switched it from oldest-first (so you could always find the newest comment at the bottom of the page) to newest-first (so now it's somewhere in the middle — just where depends on how long the description is, how many attachments, and how many comments). #BadUX that I can't override sucks!
