Nobody fouls a birdbath quite like a city pigeon.

(But they are kinda handsome, though.)

Two largish, light-grey birds with dark-grey wing bars and heads sit, somewhat guiltily, on a birdbath clearly not meant to hold two birds of their size. Their necks are the only part of them that show they’ve just been bathing; the feathers are wet and bedraggled, but also slightly reflective, and range from green through violet to a light pink or red. Each bird has fixed the camera with a single orange eye that would not look out of place on a dinosaur deciding how many mouthfuls it will take to eat you from head to toe.
