I've learned French for more than 8 years, parts of my Family are from France and I was able to speak it quite well but since then I didn't make use of it very much and I feel like my abilities to think and talk in French went into deep hibernation ^^ That's what my brain does, so I need to wake it up.
Also, why are you all talking so fast when recording podcasts ^^
@jules I'm very much a text person, anyway, but I can definitely understand how this is a problem - every time I try to read aloud, oh my, do I remember to breathe??
@jules You know, I wouldn't mind seeing French on my own time-line, even though I have *zero* French. (Or, well, I can sometimes understand it reading, thanks to local exposure and a past with Italian.)
Maybe I should dedicate one of my accounts to only French tooting but I'm not at the "active use" stage yet. Need to hear and read a lot more French before that will work without too much pain.
