No matter which social network you're on, following a diverse group of people helps you taking a peek at the other side of your personal filter bubble.

You don't have to agree with everything and everyone, but please, at least try to listen to people and their opinions.

It will help you appreciate your own life, and may just make you a little wiser.

@fribbledom I'll give you a "yess, but."

Yes, but it is okay for people to need and have comfort zones where they can relax and NOT constantly have your brain stretched.

In my case, Shop is a largely a comfort zone for me, and Quora is the site where I seek out people with differing view points to follow and learn from. This way I have somewhat control over how much brain stretching I get in a day to suit my mental health, which is really important for self care.
