On November 24th, I ordered a stack of stamps from the Post Office--where stamps are born.

On the 9th, I was reminded of my order when it shipped--ostensibly the gestation period is 2 weeks for stamps.

Today, those stamps are on the way and "might be late". #xp

Current mood: prepping late gifts for shipping... #xp

To add to the indignities that this year has wrought, almost every single holiday gift we're sending including cards will be late this year. A first world problem, but, disappointing nonetheless. #2020isRuined #xp

I am deriving a silly amount of schadenfreude reading the caterwauling of folks that bet on a Trump election win now that Betfair has settled up with Biden betters.

After 4 years of obnoxious behavior, I'm only slightly ashamed at the joy their consternation brings me. #xp

I think it's pretty impressive that even in this incredibly dark timeline, Taylor Swift managed to put out two incredible albums full of gorgeous material.

I managed to put pants on most days and considered myself accomplished.

At about 10 hours in, Cyberpunk 2077 is fun. On the PC, it's glitchy and a resource hog...but not worse than expected. Gameplay is good but not great. Driving is actually terrible and stealth is not well done...but the story is great. I'd say B- so far. #xp

I feel like Black Friday is as good a day as any to remind: there is no such thing as ethical consumption under capitalism and there's no behavior, decision, or belief that is completely unproblematic in modern society.
