Science papers are always full of figures, but very rarely are they to scale, but in this astrophysics paper, which Iβve never heard of an astrophysics paper having a figure to scale, the authors included a 1:1 scale of a 5 Earth-mass back hole. So take 5 Earths worth of mass, compress it so it curbed spacetime infinitely, and this is how big that would be.
My hand for scale, donβt let your actual hand get that close to a real black hole though.
Here are some mushrooms named by a neural net. They may be edible. For certain definitions of edible.

content warning meta take (glancing mention of bad behavior)
Informative content warnings, like descriptive image captions, are an accessibility tool. If you have the capacity to do so, making sure your own content and content you reshare is accessible lets people follow your account who otherwise couldn't.
These things are worth encouraging and worth facilitating, but any given person being unable to provide them is not a moral failing. Sending hostile messages to people who make accessibility requests /is/ a moral failing - *coughs* - but a simple "I'm sorry, that's not something I can promise to do" is a valid response.

Neurodivergent pride, using ableist slurs in a reclaiming way
Neurodivergent is such a good word and concept to describe all of us: the outcasts, the weirdos, the monsters, the crazies, the unstable, the brainweird.
We are the people who will never fit into their boxes and that scares them. But when we stand together we have power, a power that they can never know.
I'm proud to be neurodivergent and for this found family of other brainweird folks. Outcasts together fighting for liberation
Things we didn't do:
- Start the fire
- Shoot the deputy
- Steal the cookies from the cookie jar
Things we did:
- Tried to fight it
- Shot the sheriff
- Put the sham in the shama-lama-ding-dong
Things we will do:
- Survive
- Rock you
- Walk 500 miles
- Walk 500 more
Things we won't do:
- Get fooled again
- Back down
- That
Things we will never do:
- Give you up
- Let you down
- Run around
- Desert you
(Oops:
- I did it again)
I like SF/F books, conlangs, old computer games, and other weird and silly things! 30s, neurodivergent, pagan, nonbinary, possibly a hedgehog.
