I fucking hate working with tables in LibreOffice or Word or any word processor. Like, I'm working on tables for this Latin text, and when I resize the columns, they just go haywire. I found that if I select the whole table and do "optimal column width" I can get it to work better from there, but seriously, what a pain in the ass.

I wouldn't be doing this at all, but it's for the Latin text I am translating, so it's a necessary evil.

@greyor Yeah, now that you mention it I don't know if I've ever worked with a word processor that did tables even half decently

@hummingrain It's a complete clusterfuck, yeah. I don't know why it's so goddamn hard. Seriously, when I pull on the rightmost column, it sometimes extends out beyond the margin of the print area. How is that expected behavior?

Weird stuff for sure, but I'm fighting it as best as I can.

@greyor I wish you the best in the battle ahead!

@hummingrain 4 hours more of it tomorrow. Thankfully there are not a ton more tables, lol.
