gross, plumbing

Okay, I officially have zero idea what's going on with the plumbing in my bathroom. The tub is getting backflow from *somewhere,* but at least judging by the smell it's not a sewer pipe. Auguring didn't do anything. It was dry all day today and I didn't use the shower, and now it has like two inches of standing red liquid in it with gunk in it that smells kind of like juice? Best guess is I'm getting backflow from someone else's garbage disposal or something.

This is the current state of things. For some reason the request I put in yesterday about the tub was marked as "resolved" without, afaict, anyone actually coming into the apartment or doing anything. Filed another maintenance request with the picture attached and requesting updates, so hopefully things will get fixed tomorrow. :\

Update: 12 hours later it's about half-drained.

If no one comes to at least try to fix this today (or to communicate "we can't do this until monday for XYZ reasons") I'm going to be so pissed.
