@guerrillarain well humans do photosynthesise, just not what people think when they hear the word photosynthesis, it literally means using light energy to synthesise a compound, humans use light to convert a cholesterol precursor to cholecalciferol aka Vitamin D3
@guerrillarain I remember High Weirdness by Mail reproduced pamphlets by a "breatharian" (someone who only consumes air), who said he reproduced asexually -- unlike carnivores, who reproduce like animals "with their dirty bottom."
@pnathan @guerrillarain I already looked and couldn't find one. High Weirdness by Mail (a book by Rev. Ivan Stang of the Church of the Subgenius on his experiences sending away for literature from weird/crackpot groups) appeared in print in the 80s, and most of it never made it online.
