I'm coming out of hiatus for a few minutes to give yinz a heads up:
To my fellow photosensitive epileptic friends: DO NOT go see the Incredibles 2. Apparently, there's a lot of scenes with strobe lights -- and, from what I understand, one clocks in at about two minutes solid. At no point are there any warnings.
It's hard to believe that, in this day and age, stuff like this is still being made, and without warnings, at that. But here we are.
Anyway, that's all the information I have.
@fidgety there is an anomaly in my country (UK) where content for /television/ is scanned by an electronic flash patten analyser, there are rules from Ofcom (UK Communications Ministry) about how much flashing can be included (and it needs warnings if it is), but I can't easily find the rules for movies shown at the cinema, and I'd thought by now the whole lot would be harmonised at least across Europe and Asia (even if USA is reluctant to impose or even suggest any regulations)

You'd be surprised how many American shows and commercials have flashing lights without any warnings.
Considering that this is potentially life-threatening, it's absolutely unfathomable. But, this is what I have to deal with.
