So, I just saw The Adventures of Rufus the Fantastic Pet (2020), and something jumped at me: the ham-fisted environmental message aimed at the teenage protagonists. Which reminded me that three decades ago Captain Planet was *also* being all moralistic at teens... but it wasn't *them* soiling the planet.

Nice movie otherwise, by the way. Well worth watching. It could almost have been made in 1980, cheap special effects and all. (Which by the way are so good it might be made to look cheap on purpose.)
