I want to reply to someone's toot. They're not on my instance, so I can't see their personal timeline while I'm logged in, even though I'm following them. HowTF do I do this???
@eskay8 once you followed them, you need to click again to follow them for real, then, you will see there pouet in your timeline and be able to reply

@eskay8 it seems to be a 2 step process to follow someone from another instance.
1st step : you enter your name@instance
2nd step : you click on follow

@Etienne Ah, yeah. Did that, still can't see their posts in my TL (or yours, for that matter!) I think something might be wrong.
@eskay8 I think you have to wait for next posts to see them appear in your TL.
