I have finally gotten around to reading Aliette de Bodard's "House of Binding Thorns" and am really liking how it came together! Interesting, differently-strong characters, and a more tangled (but still nicely coherent) plot than its predecessor. Also, as before, fallen angels, Vietnamese dragons, and a gothic ruined Paris. Good stuff.

@dotless_i I’d usually do just exactly whats on the cover, since thats what the authors likely most known as? But the de does make it slightly harder to scan so I’m not sure in this case
@dotless_i i try to hashtag author names as well, in case theres someone else in the fediverse who’s a fan, but books is definitely a good start
