@vector Well, I was pretty pissed off at the Annihilation movie gutting the fascinating slow reveals and details, so my rebellious soul is appreciating Authority in all its hesitant pacing. I haven't gotten very far yet, that said.

@vector Also, the physical descriptions of the characters is eliciting additional frustration with the movie.

@vector So, interesting parallels between the biologist’s history of employment and Control’s.

@vector Also finding Control’s assessment of people vs his own personal hangups interesting and relatable.

@vector He’s at one point going “I’m aces at this” but then freaking out because insecurity.

@nox Yeah my fear was that I was getting in this pattern of just not reading rather than following my current needs. That would be unhealthy for me. I neeeeeeeed books.
