Recently, someone on here posted about an alternative, -based browser that was better for privacy and security than Firefox. But I can't remember what it was called or who said it. Maybe someone from -exchange?

@xtaldave
I tried LibreWolf, WaterFox, and PaleMoon.
LibreFox won't open
WaterFox won't let me log into apps I need to use
PaleMoon won't open

I think I'm going to need some help.

@clacksee Oh, you're on a mac! I have to admit, that is beyond me. But most things are, so ... sorry.

@clacksee @xtaldave I had that problem with LibreWolf too. There's a command that needs to be executed, then the browser runs just fine. I can hunt out the details if you want. (I've been running LibreWolf for about a week now.)

@clacksee @xtaldave The command is:
`xattr -d com.apple.quarantine /Applications/LibreWolf.app/`

...and apparently I have to run it every time the browser is updated. Bah.

@clacksee Librewolf? Honestly it's a guess, but that's what I use.

Was it the Mullvad Browser? It's a stripped down privacy oriented Firefox fork. You aren't supposed to customize it so it's harder to fingerprint you, you just look like pretty much every other Mullvad Browser user. So that might be inconvenient
