I'm confused:

1. Hot dogs do not / should not come in cans.
2. The American Style can is the same size, but has fewer dogs and costs twice as much as the normal can.

@callahad I'd feel compelled to buy one just to see what sort of fuckery is going on.

@edebill @callahad No one buys Prince's Tinned Hot Dogs unless they have completely given up, and even then it's a push

@iona @edebill I'm intensely curious, but have no local omnivores available and willing to help me answer these dark mysteries. :(

@callahad Are the ingredients the same? Do the non-American ones have more fillers/different meat?

@kawa You can see the whole family of products at princes.co.uk/our-products/mea

The Hot Dogs, Original Hot Dogs," and Glass Jar Hot Dogs all seem identical per 100g, but the American Style has extra pork fat, beef collagen and coloring (E155), but fewer herbs listed in the ingredients.

So... fattier and plainer?

@callahad @kawa The american ones are larger thus eight of them don’t fit in the can?

@callahad What about glass jars? ;)

(Yeah, I'm stirring it. I'm a bad person.)
