LB reminds me. OUaT, I was in a university computing center. A person approached after witnessing me cajoling a debugger with invective.

“You seem like a person who knows a lot about computers,” they said.

“I do like to talk to them, yes,” said I.

“I’m writing a screenplay about computer hackers and I’d like to ask you about some specific concrete details I can use.”

“Sure, how can I help lend verisimilitude?”

“Which of these hacker names sounds most elite: RedX, HackMan or Speedy?”

Reader, I had no opinion. But I hope they were able to find an expert consultant to pin down those realistic details they needed to shape their narrative.
