like bitch I’m already doing half of that and the rest doesn’t happen *because* I’m depressed as fuck (also, parenting). and I don’t get to see people in person anymore. for like ever. fuck off.
Today I had a socially distanced picnic lunch and walk with the boyfriend. When we weren't eating I had a cloth mask; he had an N100.
There were a bunch of birds in the park, including black phoebes, my favorite bird--little tuxedo birds with mohawks that catch bugs out of the air. Two of them wound up dogfighting. Boyfriend said he was happy to see me smiling.
Spent pretty much the rest of the day napping, crying, or childminding. Sorry, work obligations. Some other time.

I was watching a webinar on COVID-19 and kids' mental health (https://youtu.be/yhX3jDgz-8o) when I received this message from my ex:
"Um. <three year old> just said, 'going to make it through this year if it kills me, if it kills me.' I am fine with this, it's cute."
