I'm only seeing bits of The Latest Discourse (#ForkOff) but from what I gather, Masto is open source and some people are forking and making their own versions and other people are angry? But... isn't that the point of an open source platform?
@reibeatall no you’ve pretty much got the whole of the conversation: some people felt gargron wasnt listening to their concerns, he said ‘if you dont like it, fork it’ and then they did and now random people have decided that’s an attack on Mastodon
