Good morning, Shop, from western Europe! Yesterday was a nice, stay-indoors rainy day... until a neighbor had to get their drains cleaned on an emergency basis.
We turned it into a visit out to a local pub, where the staff played oldies but goodies - "Riders on the Storm" has especially good memories for me.
All this, and I wrote an essay in Japanese! Well,... it's probably a first draft, since there's stuff I want to change around.
mental health re own written work (-/~)
I was really depressed after getting to what I thought was the end of my essay- I wanted to "be perfect" and write to a couple of my Japanese friends *in* Japanese, asking if they'd do me the favor of looking at my essay.
But I was *just* *so* *tired* and... yeah.
Then I started to pick at the essay and realized that I wasn't sure I wanted to say what I thing the words were saying. That "back to the drawing board" thing is really a trigger.
