mental health/anxiety (-)

Something I've noticed lately is that I'm having the worst anxiety problems around indecision. Like, totally freezing up unable to take any sort of action on something because I'm not sure which approach I should take - and then once I just PICK SOMETHING I'm fine, even if I still have a nagging suspicion the other approach would have been better.

@KelsonV does it literally feel like its breaking your brain and you freeze to the point where you’re unable to even nearly see yourself moving or doing anything else at all? if so ive been getting that lately, and i can relate that it appears just picking *something* seems to help. also, hi- floated in off the federated timeline, and as i’m polite i figured i’d let you know i’m also an artist, also in socal, and mean well by my above inquiry re anxiety. :-)

@f0photo Sometimes it doesn't stop me from doing unrelated things, like I can bypass it by doing something else entirely, but yeah, sometimes it's just kind of a BSOD. The annoying thing is that most of the time it isn't even really that important a decision! It's just that my brain has decided I need to make sure I Get It Right!

@KelsonV understood now. for me it’s mostly do i eat more or do i stop? because food tastes so damn good now that i quit smoking, but i also have work to do and cant sit around all day just eating, plus thats bad for actually digesting. :D
