It's basically, strangle the starter until it separates into hooch. Put hooch in quart jar. Add sugar, barley malt, water, and ferment once more (airtight, but burp if necessary).
When you think it's ready (5 days?), put it in strong plastic bottles, and ferment again until the bottle is firm from the carbonation.
