Noticing this year that there's a late summer surge of bees/wasps/ants around the property.

There's not really much to pollinate at this point, and in the case of the ants and carpenter bees, they're kindof a mess (for a property framed in lots of old wood).

Really don't know what to think of it... climate/weather weirdness? (it's way too hot) Just happenstance around the property? We've also developed a bat problem seemingly out of nowhere.
