I'm writing a chase scene. This is a first for me. Any words of wisdom?

I have a story that I've been working on for a while (many years) and I've become stuck. Not that I painted myself into a corner or anything like that. I know exactly what has to happen to move the story along. For some reason though, I can't write the next chapter in a way that is satisfying to me. What I write sounds hollow.

Anybody run into this in their own work? Any tricks?

hey, let's take a moment to think about how there used to be a flying sword head reptilogiraffe, for really real, this is an attempt to reconstruct to scale a real animal that breathed & ate & had sex & had babies :thinkhappy:
