I'd like to use this stitch instead of seed stitch for the end of my shawl, but none of the tutorials I've seen show how to do the wrong side rows.

@DialMforMara I’ve done something from another stitch dictionary that looks similar. Wrong side row is just purling back. (if they don’t say, purling the WS row is usually implied.)

@gannet Could I do the RS row on both sides to make it not curl? I'm going to have to test this with a smaller stitch count.

@DialMforMara I think the garter effect would be stronger than the smocking effect if you did that, but it would certainly prevent curling.
