Another exciting commercial moment, before I finished dinner and escaped the football game:
I don't know what it was selling (pistachios, my housemate said), but was telling some sob story that included the line "His third wife ran off with his second wife."
@DialMforMara yes, it’s the Wonderful Pistachio commercial. They have NFL players describing how horrible these people’s lives are, but since they’re eating pistachios they don’t care. I always thought that particular line was a bit insensitive.
@luckymushroom I want a story about those two women discovering that Pistachio Guy is a jerk and that they're actually in love with each other. That would encourage me to buy the tree nut of the writers' choice
