#knitting story tonight I went to my usual knit night hoping to to wind a skein I need for #mastokal2017. When I got there the owner's husband said the ball winder had been sold in the going out of business sale, and gave me a water bottle to hand-wind it on. An hour and 437 yards later, I celebrated being done by wandering the store and resting my hands, only to find that the ball winder was still there. It was the swift that had been sold.

Maybe he thought I couldn't use the winder without the swift? Either way, I couldn't work much on the WIP I brought after that because my hands hurt. #knitting
