My partner has insisted I watch Beverly Hills Cop. Axel's theme brings back fond memories of high school pep band, and now I understand the Shrek #movies a little better, but aside from a couple funny moments this movie is nonstop awkward.

I'm a sucker for action-y things, but there's stuff I get really irritable watching lately. (Recent episode of Stargate: SG:1 had the team forcing Major Carter to wear semi-ridiculous cultural clothing to fit in with the other women while the men stayed in uniform. Also cast a sub-plot love interest as white, despite everyone else being Asian. >_<)
