@DialMforMara I don't make tea cozies! ;D
@DialMforMara (now that I mention it though, I always kind of wish I had a reason to make tea cozies because some of them are adorable.)
I mean, there are lots of ugly teapots out there. I almost bought one last week but decided to get a better strainer instead
@DialMforMara we got rid of our ugly teapot. I found a beauuuuuutiful giant blue handmade pottery one in a second hand shop and promptly got rid of the pink granny pot.
I should go teapot thrifting. It's not usually a thing I look for at Goodwill.
@DialMforMara ooo yes you should. Hold on for pics...
This is the big blue pottery teapot
my favourite charity shop teapot find was at the recycling center - there are four more cups as well. I was like NEED DIS and managed to get it home intact on my bicycle! :)
That was to be sympathetic, on the assumption that the sweater thing happened to you
@DialMforMara No, fortunately! Hahah I'd be like, "Give me back my sweater! You don't deserve my sweater!"
It was more a metaphor for how people treat intellectual & creative projects. Like no one (well hardly anyone) would do that to someone making a sweater or something tangible, while the same person might think nothing of demanding things like free software or fanart/fic are adjusted for their taste.
