Hey, Fediverse- can anyone tell me why when scrolling on my phone I get these random “Load More” gaps in my timeline that, when I click on them, seem to load and then skip over all those posts, taking me to another section in the feed, so I have to scroll backwards? These “load more” sections happen all the time and are annoying. #fediTips #metatext
@AllysonShaw I find if I click the load and then scroll back just slightly so the loading bit isn't visible you don't lose your place. It is annoying though! I miss the days of Talon for twitter where it saved your place in the TL with no loading or winding required!
@unevendays interesting! I mean the damn thing is in my muscle memory now. I do miss a more stable feed, but this is better than IG- where basically if you looked away for a second the entire thing reloaded with a different algorithmic presentation and you never find anything again.

@unevendays I no longer use it, but I have not deleted it as all my professional contacts are on there and I don't know what to do. I'm trying to figure that out.
